My practice and instruction in Yoga are inspired by the Satyananda Yoga Tradition (www.yogavision.net). This integral approach draws from the traditional systems of Hatha, Raja, Bhakti, Karma, Jnana and Mantra Yoga, and aims to develop and balance the various dimensions of one’s being– body, mind, emotions, and psyche– leading to a harmonious, joy-full and authentic life. Satyananda Yoga offers a comprehensive means for people of various beliefs, cultures and backgrounds to find the practical tools that encourage wellness and an inspired life vision.
A typical Satyananda Yoga session includes asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditative practices. The depth and variety of practices make this approach suitable for people of all ages, and of different physical ability.
